HC300EK and S300EK are two enamelling steel grades with guaranteed minimum yield strength that retains its mechanical properties after deformation and enamel firing.
The use of these grades makes it possible to reduce thicknesses to a lower level.
HC300EK is a colled rolled and S300EK a hot rolled steel.
They are used to manufacture water heater tanks with very good mechanical strength and good resistance to in-service stresses. They allow significant thickness and cost reduction compared to standard grades used for this application.
